JULIA L. KAY is a painter, printmaker, photographer, muralist, and digital artist born and raised in New York City. She holds a BA in photography from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and did graduate work at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore. Kay now lives in San Francisco, where she’s had the opportunity to complete commissions and to exhibit both locally and internationally. Das Buch inspiriert wirklich für das Malen und Zeichnen. Es sind so viele unterschiedliche Varianten von Portraits zu sehen, dass es Spaß macht einfach durchzublättern. Ich finde es auch gut, dass die Künstler mit ihren FLICKR-Account aufgeführt sind, so kann man sich noch mehr Bilder im Internet ansehen.

The artists in this book show countless different styles of tackling the art of doing portraits. Every page is an inspiration to your creative mind. So get inspired and then draw on!
